    Apples of Gold is a devotional style blog written with the hope of encouraging believers and challenging them to grow deeper in their faith.  The name is derived from Proverbs 25:11:

    “A word spoken at the right time is like gold apples in silver settings.” 

    It is the desire of the author to share timely thoughts that readers can readily apply to their daily lives.

Think Big Mac vs. melt in your mouth, grass-fed roast beef, slowly marinated in broth and spices all day. The best things often require significant time and effort.
